ArtLab 2012 Creative Summer Camp

A one-of-a-kind adventure into creative fun and individual expression led by the guy who paints himself blue and that crazy red-headed lady.

Last year was an amazing experience for kids, counselors and teachers alike. Grant said it was “better than chocolate camp!” which we took to be quite a compliment. Check out a whole bunch of photos here.

ArtLab 2012 will be Monday, June 4 through Friday, June 22
at Independence Art Studios, 419 Janisch Road 77018 (map here)

Camp runs from 9 a.m.−2 p.m. with extended day available until 5 p.m. Program fee: $300 per week. Extended day: $100/week. Supplies $50/child. (Sorry, no daily rates available.)

Created for kids ages 8−13. Since we customize the experience to match and expand each child’s abilities, interests and experience, we can accept no more than 30 campers who will be divided up into three groups.

The program is led by Mitch Pengra, a nationally-recognized art teacher at The Parish School, and Thedra Cullar-Ledford, a widely-exhibited artist, college art teacher, and co-owner of Independence Art Studios.

To register, please complete this registration form and follow the instructions at the bottom for payment.

If you have questions, you can e-mail Mitch or call Thedra at 646-269-4132.

We can’t wait to see you!
